April 2018 Newsletter

On the odd occasion, I send emails out with useful information. You can sign up to these at the bottom of this post.

It’s almost the end of April (hopefully you’re aware of that) and we’re loving still wearing our shorts and short sleeves to work, particularly during the morning and evening commute. No doubt the army of black down jackets will be out and about soon, so make the most of it!

Your questions answered
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been posting a series of videos on facebook and youtube. I’ve updated some of the pages on the website with their relevant videos too. It’s a collation of common questions I get asked in the clinic – Maybe it’s even answers to questions you haven’t thought of yet!

Topics so far include:

  • Posture (it’s not as important as you think) HERE
  • The difference (or lack of) between Myotherapy and the other therapies HERE
  • Have I Pinched a Nerve? HERE and
  • Are your muscles actually tight? HERE
Got a question you want answered? I plan to do more videos over the next few weeks too, so send me an email with your question and I’ll do a video about it.

Corporate update
Did you know I can come to your office and talk about health and wellness? Last week, I put two separate groups through a session titled ‘Movement in the Workplace’ . The session’s focus is on encouraging mostly desk based employees to move more. It’s a fun, interactive and super practical session that will leave you better equipped in dealing with desk based work.

I genuinely used the following gif in the session. If you work in an office and are tired of standard, boring health and safety presentations, you can read more about the corporate offerings here or send me a message. (The more you watch it the funnier it gets).
I promise to reward you with equally funny gifs if you book in a corporate session – GUARANTEED!

PS. I’m off on a holiday for 10 days at the end of May/early June. If you’ve been thinking about making an appointment, now would be a great time to fit in a couple of sessions before we take off for a rest in Bali. (Any tips on things to do in Sanur with a 21 month old welcome too).
